Disney’s ‘Newsies’, the Tony Award-Winning, high-energy musical, inspired by real events, tells the story of young newspaper sellers to make ends meet in 1899 New York City. When newspaper owners start to exploit their labor, Jack Kelly and his band of newsies rise up to face the ruthless Joseph Pulitzer. Enjoy the performance by Florida Repertory at the lovely Arcade Theatre in downtown Fort Myers, FL.
Performances run Wednesday through Saturday evenings showtime is 7:00 PM. Saturday and Sunday matinees offered 5/11 and 5/12. Sunday matinee also offered 5/19.
